The wastewater treatment system is an integrated combination of the tank and the irrigation area. Each must function with the other and be designed to do so efficiently.

In order to comply with the current legal standards the treatment system must be designed and installed in such a way so as to limit public health risk and protect the environment.

A very important consideration in the design of is the method of sterilization. Most systems still use chlorine however please note that extreme caution must be exercised with this chemical!
